We have been busy at Arely re-doing the patio. The old floor/base was becoming unstable on the surface and would not take another repaint . Spring is in the air and money is in the bank [ Thank you 'Darling'] so...We decided to resurface it in 'old bricks' and put in new planters and have a complete makeover with new plants and a Garden seat come arbor . We were lucky to be able to take advantage of some bargains the 'old brick' slabs were and end of stock purchase from the builders yard for the princely sum of £2.50 each and the Garden seat was also an end of line, going for a substantial discount . New Ali baba pots and a packet of grass seed and some 'Obelisks' have also been purchased along with some 'Easter Island Heads ' awaiting delivery but not from the afore mentioned islands of course but a little closer to home, Newcastle .Watch this space for another garden update soon
